The curry pastes contain no pork or alcohol in the paste itself. The Pepper curry paste contains vinegar. We are not an officially halal-certified company, but the ingredients are plant-based and contain no haram components. When in doubt, always consult a qualified authority.
Yes. The current BASHA products have been tested for refrigerated storage. Keep the curry paste refrigerated according to the label instructions. Ambient shelf-life testing is currently in progress and should not yet be presented as confirmed.
Yes, we recommend frying the paste in a little oil for 1–2 minutes before adding the other ingredients. This activates the spices and gives a deeper, richer flavour to your dish.
One 150g pouch is enough for a meal for 4 people, combined with 1 kg of meat, fish or vegetables.
Yes, we currently deliver to Ghent and the surrounding area via collection points. Delivery time is 2 to 4 working days after ordering. Shipping costs and conditions can be found on the shop page.
